Delete your PIN account

1. Open PIN on iOS or Android.
2. Tap the Account tab (bottom right).
3. Tap Delete account.
4. Follow the confirmation prompts. This removes your primary account and associated library database records. See below for other stored copies.

The destructive button is intentionally double-confirmed so you don't hit it by accident.

If you can't open the app — for example, you uninstalled it, lost the device, or can't sign in — email founder@catchandpin.app from the address tied to your PIN account with the subject line Delete my PIN account. We'll verify it's you, then process the deletion manually within 7 days and send you a confirmation when it's done.

The in-app flow deletes your PIN account record and associated library database records, including your pins and collections. It also requests deletion of your authentication identity. If you can still sign in after requesting deletion, contact us so we can complete the request.

Files in separate storage, including uploaded image and PDF originals, are not guaranteed to be removed by the in-app flow. Email founder@catchandpin.app to request removal of remaining uploaded files and other service-held data.

Comments you left in someone else's collection can remain without your account attribution. Copies another person made of shared content cannot be recalled by deleting your account.

Backups and operational records held by our service providers have separate retention settings. Analytics and error reports may contain account identifiers; they should not be assumed anonymous or automatically erased when your library is deleted.

Contact us for a request covering these systems. We will explain which records can be deleted, any records we must retain and the applicable timeframe when handling your request.

You're welcome to create a new PIN account with the same email at any point after deletion. The new account is fresh — we do not restore any pins or collections from the deleted one.

You don't have to nuke your whole account to clean things up. PIN gives you granular control inside the app:

• Delete a single pin — swipe left on it in the feed (with undo), or open the pin and tap the ⋯ menu → Delete.
• Delete a collection — open the collection, tap ⋯ → Delete collection. The pins inside the collection stay in your library; only the grouping is removed.
• Remove a pin from a collection (without deleting the pin) — open the collection and swipe left on the pin row.
• Clear a pin's note — open the pin, tap the note text, delete it, tap outside to save.
• Stop sharing a public collection — open the collection, tap ⋯ → Stop sharing link. The public URL stops resolving immediately.

Individual deleted pins may remain in Recently deleted until they are permanently removed. Removing a pin from a collection only changes its membership. For deletion of remaining uploads or other data, email founder@catchandpin.app from the account's email address and we'll handle it within 7 days.
